Fine Artist Yvonne Blaise is a lifelong artist hailing from the eastern shores of Lake Michigan, where she has spent most of her life and is a self taught artist. Yvonne is also a wife, mom, grandmother, and USAF Veteran. She is also a folk style singer-songwriter, writer, poet, and an incurable punster who loves to play with words...Yvonne finds her creative art inspiration from many subjects - usually with a rustic bent involving the nostalgia of old wooden structures, and the presence of bushes, trees, grasses, and water. She works in a variety of drawing and painting mediums, most especially those which lend themselves well to drawings and illustrations such as ink, graphite, or colorful mixed media... Her featured niche, however, consists of some stylish, fun, snappy, and sophisticated abstract horse art most often painted or illustrated in black and white, called "ImaginEquines" - where "the art of the horse has definitely left the barn." (Contrary to any "neigh" sayers!)... As the the online expression of Studio Blaise takes shape and morphs with added pieces, there will be many more subjects in a traditional or perhaps abstract-leaning styles, or one of the ImaginEquines, that you will find of interest. Come back often to see what's new! Thanks for stopping by.
Adios, and happy trails to you!
