Yoonsun

A Los Angeles-based artist Yoonsun studied fashion designs in Otis College of Art and Design and her growing interests in painting has led her to create artwork that transcends time, connecting the past and the present. Her paintings emerge the contemporary and popular fashions with famous celebrities from the past, such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and James Dean, whom we have fond memories of. By conjoining the two trendy subjects, Yoonsun brings back these eminent figures back to life in modern clothes and colors, ultimately creating a new pop-culturistic vibes to LA. Through her own interpretation Yoonsun not only depicts beauty within the fashions but also portrays some personal stories of these celebrities.
