My name is Lin-Sheng Zhou (周林生). Thank you for visiting my portfolio. Professor Zhou was born in 1942 in Hunan, China, graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature in Capital Normal University in 1966, Beijing. He came to paint in 1984 and became a member of Chinese artist association, editor of People’s Fine Art Publishing House, former classical journal newsroom director and executive editor of the China Art magazine. Lin-Sheng found the pleasure of exploring landscapes. He has published “Chinese Contemporary Art masters – By Lin-Sheng Zhou” (People’s Fine Arts Publishing House, 2011). The work of “Apple and Volcano” in the 9th national art exhibition has been recorded “Chinese Modern Art Edition.” In the same year, the oil painting “Summer Breeze” has been selected among the best works in the Fine Arts Exhibition in Beijing and the National Arts exhibition. Prof. Zhou was invited by IOWA’s Des Monies Art exhibition in the United States. Most of the works were sold. In 2011, he held personal exhibition sponsored by Russian gallery, published the fairy tale novels "Pig arch Forward", "Tiankeng animal beginning", "The end of an animal dynasty" (writers publishing house, 2016), a novel "Confucianism bandits" (Qingdao press, 2017), published literature script "totem" (1998) "Movie Literature" and some art paper.
