Who's Your Muse?www.ArtPal.com/whosyourmuse
Thank you for being interested in me and my work! My mom told me I was very talented and that I
should be an artist when I was very young, and so I am! I attended Westminster Schools in Atlanta, GA and won the Art Medal when I graduated, establishing the fact that I have a gift for which I am
very grateful. I studied studio art at the University of South Carolina and loved that rambling old art
building with no air conditioning and spent as much time there as I could spare from my other, less
intriguing classes. When my children were young I took instruction from several well known artists
in Charleston, SC (my home city). I also studied art and education at Charleston Southern University
which was the Baptist College at the time, under Mr. John Ward and became a member of the
Charleston Artist Guild. I have continued to paint, experiment, learn and teach while acknowledging
the remarkable talent of my friends and colleagues who inspire and encourage me.
I have never been a "formula" artist, or one who is known for one particular style or subject. I enjoy
all subject matter, and love to try new methods of expression and different media. I also love fashion and revel in the expression of self in dress. Jewelry, shoe, clothing, hair and fabric design
all excite me! I can live without a lot of things, but beauty is not one of them.
Keep lovin' beauty!
