Virgil Graham

c Virgil Graham is an experienced professional photographer. He brings an eclectic approach to any assignment through more than 30 years of experience in all film and Digital photo formats including 4 x 5, 6x6, 6 x 7, 6.45 and 35mm.

His work has been commissioned for major advertising agencies, magazines and promotional materials. He specializes in food, landscape/architectural shots, and portraits. His other work includes catalogues, fashion, aerial and product/industrial photography—including macro photography.

His work has been included in such magazines as Coast, Gourmet, Arizona Highways, GreyHawk, Direct Air Inflight, TravelHost, Strand, Sunny Day, Entertainment and Lifestyle; Northwest Airlines Inflight, Group Tour, and Canada Travel among others.

Doral Tobacco Corporation featured Graham’s aerial photographs of South Carolina for their “America” trading card series, which is distributed worldwide. His travel and corporate photography have been included in many websites, promotional brochures, and tourism support materials .

Assignments have included extensive travel photos in St. Maarten, Mexico, Corsica, Tuscany and Florence, Italy. He created food shots for the Tuscany branch of Slow Food, a gastronomic organization.

Graham was commissioned to photograph a collection of the hand made artifacts of the Native American leader, Geronimo. These pieces were hand made during his time of imprisonment. The photographs were also used in a documentary film.

He also provided photography for “The Pickford Paradox” film that debuted at Angelciti Film Festival in Los Angeles. He has been a location scout/photographer for the South Carolina Film Commission.

Graham education includes Boston Architecture Center, Massachusetts College of Art and Harvard Design School . He also trained to be a pilot at Spartan Aeronautical.Call 843-602-5211
