This piece is a part of a 7-drawing series entitled "My violet beginning".
All of my drawings are called "harlequins" and they are representations of either material or intangible things; they are and they are not at the same time.
The harlequins appear for a brief moment, enough for the artist to draw a couple of lines and thus, capture their essence.
It is almost impossible for a "harlequin" to fully materialize, this is the reason why they appear more 2D than 3D.
My artwork is extremely abstract, a bit or a bit more strange, hopefully vibrant and intense. I would say that the drawings reflect facets of my developing personality and are also an echo of my past.
