He was born in 1965 in Camaguey, Cuba. He grew between the city and the countryside. Every summer he usually spent two months of vacations with his father’s family in a little village, in contact with nature, surrounded by sugar cane plantations, fruit trees, animals, farmers and colloquial people. Every summer ended with tons of drawings, colored paintings, and black and white sketches about every area of the little village, their peoples, pets, details from every were. Since he was a child, he caught hold of whatever was around him to create images and crafts to play; it gave his hands and mind great ability.
Villasuso also works abstraction, landscape and photograph. The drawing is a fundamental part of their work and seeks to do every day. The acrylic used almost exclusively for its dynamism and its expressive possibilities.
