I am a self employed Artist working in St. Nicholas Market in the old part of Bristol near the centre. Not far from the Famous Bristol Old Vic Theatre. This is where I paint 6 days a week, and sell my paintings, greeting cards and also T-shirts that I have designed myself. I paint many things, and also take commissions on request, of people and of your pets, etc. including images of Bristol. I have now painted full time for 9 years inside the Market and I did 3 years part time outside on Corn street. I love it, having always did Art since a child. I paint in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, and also in pen and ink. And collages. I am living the dream as they say.

I looked after my parents and My Nan - my Mums Mum who lived with us, for many years before doing a Btec Art, Design and Media course in Bristol City College followed by A Foundation course at Bristol School of Art, Queens Road, Bristol, in the same subjects. It was very fulfilling, rewarding and inspiring being with like minded people and doing the work that I loved.

I continue to grow and improve with my Art and have many more ideas through people giving me commissions which lead on to different things. Its amazing. I have been told I give people inspiration which is lovely and an honour to hear but these people also keep me going with their encouragement, and their inspiration, especially when I may be feeling 'down'.
