You are looking at a hand crafted Western Meadowlark. It appears to be carved from Bass Wood then finished with a hand painted colorful surface. It is life sized and is mounted on brass feet that keep it anchored to a piece of driftwood. There is a note under the driftwood that says "28007 Meadowlark" and is followed by a symbol that I can't read. This is a beautiful piece that looks real until you get close. Even the glass eyes look real.
