Along with forming a childlike mentality, the desire to evoke feelings of joy is my main objective in art. Apart from it, a bit deeper, lies the idea of an ever changing world of thoughts and feelings, meaning that every painting I make is an exploration of the unknown. My earlier paintings are mostly based upon intuition and abstract thinking which, I think, echoes my own reality and the self. Bouncing towards surrealism thus enabled me a much deeper way of thinking, turning from pure intuition into the nature of thinking. Although I agree that intuition can be as powerful as thinking, I think it can only be achieved through a certain process that inevitably interacts with the subconscious. If I return back to my first statement, I think, evoking a whit of light in the viewer's soul is really my main purpose, on the other hand, connecting with the subconscious is more of a personal quest that will someday, hopefully be realised.
