Thomas was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. In his early teen years, he began taking photographs with his father’s 35mm Pentina leaf shutter camera while on family vacations. His love of photography continued through high school where he studied photography darkroom techniques and composition. In his teen years he also developed a passion for music, he studied the guitar and eventually attended Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, California shortly after graduating high school. For the next couple of years he honed his craft, he had the opportunity to sit in and jam with world class musicians such as Tim Bogart, Keith Wyatt, Rick Derringer, Norman Brown, Debbie Davies, and many more before moving back to Cleveland to perform and tour with bands such as 12 Gauge, Gangster of Blues, The Healers and the notorious Burnt River Band.
After a 20+ year career in music, Thomas has come back full circle to find himself studying the art of photography once more. In 2006 he began working with new aspiring models and soon began working professionally as an event photographer. Today you can find Thomas perfecting his craft as a fine art portrait photographer.
