I am often stopped in my tracks by the highlights in nature and life. It may be the sunlight that travels briefly over a leaf. It may be a distant hill that catches the setting sun. I usually let the elements that fade into the darkness have their way. They will shine in their time. I never pass an opportunity to appreciate and wonder. I try to get the viewer of my art to feel what I felt when I was moved by the magic.
