Born in Athens, Greece, raised on a small Aegean island. Studied Psychology, Special Education, Adult Training Education, Family Law, NGO Administration, and Digital Photography. The interest for Photography was cultivated after coming back to hometown from a nine year absence. Stam has always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Founding member of the Paros Photography Group since 2013. Curator and publisher of the photography and literature magazine “Faros” (Lighthouse) since 2018. An avid reader and short story writer. Drawing inspiration from the small details and the everyday things we stumble upon as well as from poetry and music. Stam’s artistic influences: Diane Arbus, Edward Steichen, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Susan Weil, Andre Kertesz, Sally Mann, and Irene Shwachman.
Currently living and creating on Paros island, Greece.
