I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer who gets great delight in sharing my photos with anyone who is interested.
I started improving my photography skills during the four years I spent in Gabon, Africa, when my husband was working there. Many online courses, hours and hours of practice and experimentation, along with an increasing passion for capturing the beauty of jungle, the animals and the birds around us made it a fantastic journey towards proficiency. The journey never ends of course, but our life has changed and we are now the owners and peasants of Grey Ridge Vineyard in New Zealand.
So the more recent photos tend to focus (!) on vines and grapes and Central Otago scenery, rather than exciting animal encounters - but the challenges to take striking photos remains and getting out there for the photography is just as much fun!!
I hope you enjoy my Gallery!
