I am an amateur artist who studied art at high school. I held two exhibitions of my work whilst still at school - I displayed some works mainly of birds and animals at a library in the Morningside area of Edinburgh and was lucky to be part of a wider exhibition/event held at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh too. I have continued painting since then and developed my skills via local classes with trained artists. I enjoy painting and am inspired by nature, the colour, light and varied creatures it provides.

I exhibited in the Fife Art Exhibition a number times since 2007 and sold one of my works - a painting of Bass Rock, a volcanic rock just off the coast of North Berwick in Scotland.

I spent a year in France between 2014 and 2015 during which I painted some local scenes some of which are shown in my gallery. I exhibited these at the Aberdour Festival in Fife, Scotland in 2016. I sold two of the works during the exhibition. I had some other works, mainly inspired by images in and around Fife on at the festival the following year.

A colleague commissioned me to paint her children facing a sunflower field as a gift for her husband. They were both delighted with the finished piece.

I am now living in France and continuing to paint and be inspired by my surroundings. I have paintings for display at a local restaurant and have made a sale. I am taking part in an exhibition of works by the local art group.
