Description

My daughter and I were on a mission trip in Swaziland (eSwatini) at a farm house. At this time they were going through a draught in this African region. A lady was walking down a dirt road carrying a bucket of water from one place to another. This became my oil painting.

I have been painting for about 35 years. I am mostly self taught but have taken workshops and classes throughout the years. I paint in oils and pastel's, mostly focus on oils. I live in southern Missouri and am married with two adult children and two grandchildren. The kids live in Nashville, Tennessee.
My husband and I travel allot so you may have noticed that many of my paintings have to do with our travels. I also like to paint flowers I have seen hiking or from traveling. Besides painting as a hobby, I also like gardening and playing bridge (cards). I also am active in my church.
