Row Night Lin

Row Night Lin

Row Night Lin was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania and has lived in the wild Pacific NW for the last 15 years. She started painting and drawing at the age of five. Her father, who was also an artist, gave her paints and old master art books to draft from as training. Much of her artwork is influenced by her rural upbringing, the magical and natural worlds, and her in-depth architecture training.

She attended the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Portland State University, obtaining a degree in Architecture. After graduation, formed an artist, design and architect collective studio at Disjecta a Contemporary Art Center, accomplishing many projects and awards. Afterwards attended a four and half year Mystery School and continued with advanced studies for another five.

Artist Statement
That which influences my work are dreams, sacred patterns, the profound and our relationship with nature and the everyday world. My hands are in different mediums; ink, charcoal, oil and acrylic paints, mixed media, clay and larger land areas, or land art. My aim is to honor the earth, the cycles, and all it celebrates and to relay the transitions of the human and spiritual experience along the way. I am interested in symbolism, both the old and emerging, and bringing through that of the inner worlds and what is beyond the veils. To inquire about commissions or if you have questions contact or follow my instagram at row_night_lin to see updates about my work.
