I studied and worked for Diego Rivera, Abel Warshawsky, L. Yacoubian, Manuel Tolegian and studied at the Calif. School of Fine Art and the Kahn Institute. I have had one-man shows and participated in several group shows. I began to paint at an early age under the tutorship of my father who was an artist classically trained in Paris at the Ecole de Beaux-art and Academie Julien. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe and have painted many scenes based on my travels. I have also painted many scenes of my home town of San Francisco. I have also lived in Oregon where I painted many local scenes and had exhibits there as well. I currently live and work in So. Calif.
My style of art is a combination of Impressionism and Realism. I shy away from ultra- modernism and abstraction. My interest centers on human studies, city-scapes and architecture.
I paint what I know or what I have seen that inspires me to paint or draw. I also do charcoal studies. Thank you.
