After my dad saw my art work when I was young, he offered to send me to Chouinard Art institute in Los Angeles...or medical school. Ha! I chose the latter but have never stopped creating. When I was a surgical resident at Good Samaritan hospital, I set up an art studio in the on-call room and sold art through the Firehouse Gallery in Pasadena.
Now, semi-retired, I'm chasing the Muse once again and creating new works in acrylic and oil in two studios in North Carolina. Art is a passion for me...and should be for all who create. I use bright colors and texture to shine energy out of the work and into the heart of the viewer. Have a look to see what I mean!
