Megan Rohrbach grew up in San Jose, California, in the shadow of the foothills. She graduated from San Jose State University with a BFA and also holds a teaching credential in art and a Master's of Education from California State University Bakersfield. Megan's work is deeply rooted in a sense of place and time, and affection for the nearby hills, trees and leaves. Her style varies from abstract to semi-realistic, the constant being a strong sense of color harmony. Megan often draws inspiration from everyday scenes found while walking the dog. She currently teaches high school art in Fremont, California.
