As a designer in the Architectural profession, I understand process as non-linear. The series marks the beginning of this realisation by showcasing a timber maquette replicating the structure of an aerial body. To fully comprehend a subject we often follow a process of re-creation and repetition. The prototype featured in this collection of photographs is made of repeated singular elements connected to a central system. Its nature is itself explored through re-created positions. Alike the original, the replica successfully showcases structural flexibility. Here, the replication of pre-established elements is portrayed as a vital process in enabling conceptual designs to be realised.
