Growing up in the Blue Mountains, Australia, Rhiannon was always surrounded and inspired by nature. But it was when Rhiannon left home to travel Australia that Native Colours was truly born. Infatuated by the variety and change in the native gumtrees as she travelled, Rhiannon began to use her to capture these beautiful changes with watercolours.
The unique colours and shapes of gum leaves, native to Australia, always provide an ever-changing subject. With the colour of the leaves fading from the moment they hit the ground, each work becomes special race against time to capture the beautiful colours and imperfections.
From Bega to Byron Bay, Devil Marbles to Cape Tribulation here is a collection of her works available as printed copies. Commissions also available.
Inspired by Mother Nature.
