A professional abstract artist and a graduate from a strong educational Fine Arts, Graphic Design and Architectural background from The Manchester School Art (MSA)-The Manchester Metropolitan University.
I'm inspired by both the abstract art from the west and the east. The eastern being the Persian and Islamic Geometric Arts and the western abstract artist movements from late 19th and 20th century. This has led me to discover the origins of abstract art as being 'A Spiritual Art form'. A further study revealed to me the term 'Concerning The Spiritual in Art' from the famous painter Wassily Kandinsky and this spiritually inspired me to pursue in my paintings a form of pure abstraction.
I'm heavily influenced by the works of Piet Mondrian, Wassily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, Henri Matisse and other abstractionist painters of the late 19th -20th century.
'I set out in my journey of painting to be inspired by these historical figures. My artwork is made up from the core elements of geometric straight lines, shapes and circles, enhanced by colour and form to achieve unity, balance and harmony in all of my artwork'
