I studied drawing and painting at The Art Students League in NYC. In New York I went to work for an industrial design firm where I helped build furniture prototypes. Although not always employed as an artist, I have continued to be self-taught. My work reflects my love for the work of Dan Flavin -- who worked exclusively with light as a medium -- and Donald Judd whose sculptures are wonderfully crafted. I aim to use abstract forms -- circles, squares, traingles -- as representatives of spiritual realities -- perfection and completeness.
