I have been an artist as well as an animal lover all of my life. The daughter of an artist, I spent countless hours drawing. I attained my BFA at Pratt Institute, but my degree was in Interior Design which became my career for 20 years. It was when I stopped working to care for my parents and my son that I again found time for my art. I initially worked in black and white until I joined my local art league (of which I am now President) and a fellow member introduced me to pastels.

I now work in a variety of mediums including my first love, the graphite pencil; pastels, colored pencils, acrylics and oils. I enjoy painting a wide variety of subject matter, landscapes, figures, portrait and especially commissioned pet portraits.
