Art has been a part of who I am since I was very young, when my artist mother first began encouraging me to draw. My motivation to create art is expressed most recently in these fun collections of hand-sculped Christmas ornaments and dough figures. Every ornament is created individually and uniquely in a flat relief style and baked on a cookie sheet in the kitchen oven. Yet these "cookies" are not edible, being coated with polyurethane for shine. Both the polyurethane and the high salt content keeps these dough creations in good condition permanently as long as they are kept dry.
