This painting is hand painted with acrylic paint! I painted an abstract mouth with 10 pills. I designed the face to have swirls throughout repressing what addiction looks like. A purple toungue is grasping the pills. I designed the background in pink and purple. The face is distinguished from the background with a thin pink line. This painting is chalked full of symbolism!

Hey everyone! I’m a 25 year old woman from Oklahoma. My love for art started young, but I personally started painting a couple years ago. I became very ill and suddenly had a lot of time on my hands. I was basically bed ridden for 2 years where I taught myself how to paint. Learning to take everything from my personal life and all my inner insecurities and turning them into art became my passion!
