Adolfo Robles was born in Cadiz, Spain, but he grew up in Madrid.
He started drawing at a very young age, probably when he was three or four years old. Instead of pencil and paper, he would draw with white chalk using the asphalt street as his canvas. As he got older he lost interest and only drew sporadically.
When he was thirty years old, a sculptor friend suggested him to buy clay and try sculpturing. He modeled his first clay sculpture and was captivated by the experience.
This in return awoke a new interest in pencil drawing, and from then on he created his artworks in both forms.
Adolfo Robles is a self-taught multitalented artist. He has never taken any courses in drawing or sculpturing. He is a natural-born talent artist who developed his skills by practicing them.
Besides sculpting and drawing, he also writes fiction books.
