Not So Colorful Art
www.ArtPal.com/notsocolorfulartHi! I’m Maria, and I'm a multimedia traditional artist based in Austin, Texas. I mostly work on portraits, as they are one of the most challenging things to draw, especially in realism. My media changes frequently, because there’s many types I’ve yet to try and yet to master. My favorite medium is charcoal, however.
I’m 16 years old in an extremely busy household with eight other members, soon to branch out into my own life beyond my life at home.
I’ve participated in two years of high school level VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) which is based in Texas, I’ve received fours on all four of my entries, and I’m a first-time contestant in the upcoming State event in April 2019. I’ve also received a gold key in the nationwide Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and I am a contestant for the March 2019 national event.
