About the Artist Neilon is 42 years old and currently lives in Manaus / Am Brasil. His work technique is Acrylic on canvas using brush and spatula. He started in the art world in November 2016, after adopting art as a stress therapy, but soon, what was a hobby became passionate, painting several paintings still naively, but always seeking knowledge and better painting techniques. . The following year, he participated in his first exhibition at the Salon of Fine Arts of the Navy in Manaus with the painting “Ship P21 in Amazon waters 100 x 100 cm”. In 2018 participated in 02 exhibitions, one being in the Salon of Arts of the Provincial Palace of Manaus, with the painting "Palafitas 80 x 60 cm", painted in 2016, being one of his first works done by the artist spontaneously and self-taught. Also in 2018, he participated in the Exhibition by the Freshwater Rivers of Amazonas, curated by Plastic Artist Rosa dos Anjos with the painting “The toil of the rubber tree 80 x 60 cm”, also painted in 2016. Seeking more and more, deepen his knowledge Neilon will start a college of Fine Arts in 2019. Influenced by works by: Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Paul Gaugin and Vassili Kandínsk, in recent months Neilon has been painting paintings using Informal Abstraction, with freer forms and expressing feelings and Emotions Artist Quote “People often ask me if I paint.
