Brockmon Fine Art

Retired from business life since 2009, I devote most of my time to family, friends and drawing, painting, and pastels, my newest interest. And so, I have devoted these last years to honing my skills and learning...always learning. In 2017 and again in 2018, I won Best in Show at the Haddonfield, New Jerseys’, "Through a Woman's Eyes", juried show and since then I have taken several Honorable Mentions in other shows. I am fortunate to have works in local prestigious collections and throughout the USA and Europe.
2020 news: October 1, 2020, I was one of only 35 Artists who received a Certificate of Excellence from the Artios Gallery virtual show, "The Art of Being Alone” for my painting, Raven's Nest, ME. Additionally, I have been accepted in SpaceLightandTime’s no theme juried 2020 show, the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts’ November juried show: Pennsylvania Winter: People, Places, and Things, and Philadelphia Artists Equity - themed UNSTOPPABLE, Juried shows.
My art is mostly realistic and reflects the natural world, but I occasionally like to try out something different. I do not worry about what is in vogue right now, because I paint how I see things and like to paint them. I paint from the heart and from memories accrued from many years and life's experiences. I take inspiration from the natural world. Most importantly, my wonderful vacations in New England and Maine with its mountains, lakes, amazing coastline, islands, and stunning scenery. Additionally, I am inspired by the quiet beauty that is the rolling hills of Pennsylvania near Philadelphia, the region in which I live. I strive for excellence in all that I do.
I do accept commissions on occasion. My latest ones were inspired from an African Safari and a portrait of a beloved pet. So, please feel free to contact me: 267 474 5789 or
