I was born in Portogruaro in 1971. I have cultivated a passion for painting since I was young and over the years I have refined myself in the various techniques by attending drawing and painting courses, following various masters, using color theory and the use of materials of various kinds. From 1990 to 2002 I moved to Berlin and from 2005 to 2008 to Sydney (Australia) in multicultural contexts and this is why my paintings have that ethnic flavor that I express in my canvases. It is a world that I carry with me as a cultural baggage. The emotion is drawn from the color and the painting revives that world left where the thought is transported to a distant and magical time. Through materials and colours, the works tell of journeys and dimensions in which the mind is free to imagine.
My paintings speak of man always searching, and often in conflict with his true nature. More and more we live in multicultural societies where globalization pushes towards a flattening of cultures and limits the typical versatility of us human beings. Versatility as a characteristic of the universe that hosts us, which, however, as the etymology of the word itself explains: Everything is One, everything goes in the same direction. My canvases want to show themselves to individuals stripped of their prejudices, their cultural backgrounds, their fears. They want to bring us to the essence of EVERYTHING.
ALL is ONE
I've always thought of art as something that sensitizes the human soul, that brings it back to its true nature, to that spirit that doesn't have the filter of knowledge accumulated over a lifetime. Man, nature, creation are the Whole. The All is One. I set no limits to the audience I address. Everyone, leaving aside rationality, cultural extraction, prejudices, can perceive the sense of uniqueness that I want to convey. The invitation is not to use the mind, it divides. We look and listen with the heart. The heart unites us. Looking at and breathing this sense of belonging to the Whole puts us above the distinctions that human beings have been able to draw with so much "presumed intelligence" over the millennia. All is One, All is interconnected. Even the most subtle levels of existence are governed by interdependence: everything that surrounds us on our planet - oceans, clouds, forests, flowers - arises in dependence on an imperceptible interweaving of energy, in the absence of which everything perishes and disappears. Never more than now does man feel the need for a reflection: harming others and anything that surrounds us means harming ourselves.
