Nancy Luger is the Luger Learning Center’s Artist in Residence and an accomplished painter and sculptress. Nancy trained as a forensic osteologist and anthropologist; she has been a horse rancher, a pet store owner, and even a casino general manager. Nancy has cataloged and characterized over 13,000 historical skeletal specimens at Harvard University Medical School and has re-articulated a skeleton for museum display at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Paul Russell museum. Nancy loves to share her experiences and knowledge with students and friends, and she is happy to tutor art and anthropology.
Nancy paints in acrylic, oil, watercolor and multi-medium. She commissions portraits from both recent photos and old photos! Commission prices start at $675 for a 16 X 20 in oil.
