Chinese Painting and Calligraphywww.ArtPal.com/mwmchina
Originally my painting style came from an Italian missionary, Lang shining (Giuseppe Castiglione, 郎世宁，July, 19, 1688 — July, 1766), who arrived in China 1715. Since 1950s, this style of painting was blocked because of its Catholic foreign background.
Since 1949, the priest painter was not allowed to mention in public medias, and was treated as “a pioneer of imperialism invading China” by the CCP government. His impact on Chinese and China were ignored.
