This stylized work is created with a batik background, a combination of mixed media: pastels. charcoal and paint to get the effect. I later worked with digital photography to get a moonlight desired effects of color, drama, movement, and action. Ability, Strength, and Power are the type of words used to accompany their amazing stories to tell about Ancient Egyptian Warriors.

Gretchen Sandiford
I started my formal art education as a mature student at Park Lane College; Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. I was accepted onto the Pre B.A. course at Jacob Kramer Art College, Leeds. I explored a wide variety of practical skills and gained good art theory knowledge. I next went on to develop my art studies and specialties at Sheffield Hallam University, England. I accomplished a B.A. Hons. Degree in Fine Art. I progressed into teaching African Caribbean History and obtained, Teaching Certificates at the Roseville Education Centre, Leeds. I acquired a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E.) from the University of Huddersfield, England.

I work in a variety, of mediums such as; painting and drawing in various mediums, printing wood and linocuts, photography, batiks and tie-dye, jewellery making, sewing, collage, modelling sculptural art forms.
