When I first moved to Mexico, coming from Miami where i worked as a photographer, I lived in Cancun and after I got to love and appreciate the culture I said: OK, the furthest I will travel from now on is to Miami because I still have to make a living.
After Cancun got a bit to hectic and loud I moved to the then little fishing village of Puerto Morelos and after I got to love and appreciate the slower paced lifestyle I said: OK, the furthest I will travel from now on is to Cancun or Playa del Carmen because I still have to make a living.
After Puerto Morelos got discovered and became a tourist destination I moved into the jungle a few years ago and after I got to love and appreciate all that Mother Nature shares so freely with me I now say: OK, the furthest I will travel from now on is to Puerto Morelos because I still have to make a living.
Now I started to open up a path that leads a few miles further into the jungle and after I have built my hut there and have moved in by the end of this year's rainy season, I wonder what I will say then.
