I was born in 1975 in Castiglione in Teverina, a village in the province of Viterbo, and I have been living in Florence for about twenty years, where I work as an architect and painter.
I started painting as a child with my mother, a primary teacher and an excellent painter.
Later I enrolled at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and, after graduation, I worked in some architectural studies in Florence.
At the same time I continued my passion for painting as a self-taught artist, creating paintings of various kinds.
In recent years I have increased the production of works of a more modern nature suitable for interior design
My interest is mainly directed towards abstract paintings in which the study of proportions and geometry are certainly a reflection of my training as an architect.
I experiment with various textures, obtained with putty applied with different thicknesses and execution modes in order to obtain multiple effects, and I often use other materials such as leather and fabric.
I prefer metallic colors, like gold and silver, and various shades of brown, red and blue, harmonized and bright colors, like a bright red, to give well-measured touches.
Recently I participated in various exhibitions: at the Il Cesello gallery, Pietrasanta, at the Arte Borgo Gallery, Rome, at the Crypt of San Lorenzo, Florence, at the Mugello Castle, Barberino di Mugello. I have also exhibited my works in two locations in Florence, obtaining various appreciations for my works.
