Hi, My name is Megan, I am from the coastal heaven down here in Southern Georgia, a.k.a. Savannah, born and raised. I went to undergrad at Georgia Southern University, where I joined my sorority AOII. I was on an intramural soccer team for AOII and got injured, my little sister in AOII drove me an hour to the hospital to find out I had !!!another!!! bone tumor in my right ankle. I had one removed when I was 12, it was benign, the doctor said, "You're done growing, that will be all we need to do, nothing should grow or bother you in the future"....well a high school and college full of chronic ankle pain proved him wrong. It was my 20th birthday and I spent it in the ER getting told my ankle was horrible, not because of being kicked multiple times in the same spot but: because of the tumor which basically cut out a notch into my Tibia because of its placement on my fibula... so with that being said I spent an entire Christmas break (and moved out of my Tybee Island home due to its damage in Hurricane Matthew) with a cast on my whole left leg. But I had a scooter and let me tell you I was fast. As for the surgery process :/ Having bone chiseled from your bone is no joke on the pain scale. 10/10 every time. So that winter I painted. I enjoyed it so much. I couldn't walk but I could move a brush and I even learned to drive my little Honda Fit Sport with my left foot, that's pretty cool. I am currently a pharmacy student in the PharmD Program at South University. (Hopefully a Pharmacist come May 2021!) I paint because it makes me happy and I really enjoy colors and making pretty things. In the medical field there can be a lot of bad, so, painting the beautiful world around me keeps me strong through the tough times. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it. I will do commission pieces or sign prints and originals, whatever y'all want! Lol. Please support me and buy a piece of my art or a print to help me pay off these student loans. Private. Pharmacy. School. is no JOKE. I got out of undergrad debt free, good grades, keeping the HOPE scholarship even through my 2 years in the Mechanical Engineering program...I changed my major to a very different field half way thru college....yes.. I did that. and stepped into $250,000 of LOANS going to pharmacy school. YUCK. I know the end result will be worth it and pay off after it is all said and done but in the mean time I always say I am doing much worse (financially) than any homeless person because they have more money than me. Negative 250,000 is a big negative. lol. Any penny they have is a positive penny. I don't have enough days to panhandle for all that cash so here I am for who ever will enjoy my art and support me through it all. I love pour painting, succulents, fish, animals, hippie vibes, and basically all things coastal. Well y'all that's me, @Meggs_N_Rice !!! :) I hope you all know you are special and loved and I really appreciate if you made it this far because I do love to talk. haha. anyway CHECK ME OUT. (my art I mean) haha
