Michael B. Johnson

Hello! My name is Michael B. Johnson. I'm an artist from Columbus, Ohio.

After earning my BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 1991, I worked in advertising and publishing, first at the Mansfield News Journal, where I worked as a typesetter, and ad designer, and then at Landoll, where I did design and illustration for books and animation and film studios, including Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbera, and Marvel. It was fun to draw the cartoons and comic book characters I had seen as a child and see my work on retailers' shelves. I also worked for the Mount Vernon News for a time — a fine and well-managed paper.

It has long been a dream of mine to be a great artist, so I took what I had learned from those experiences and applied it to the creation of digital fine art painting. What you see here are the results of my efforts.

You can buy prints of my work here on ArtPal, but for genuine one-of-a-kind originals with the most museum-worthy qualities, my signature, and a certificate of authenticity with my fingerprint, please email me at archonartsandcraft@gmail.com.

***Works ordered through ArtPal.com's ordering process are prints, not originals.*** There may be some slight alterations of images or dimensional variation, but this does not affect the quality or the overall look of the work.

Proceeds from the sales of my work go to help the following charities: the Social Security Trust Funds, Highland Local Schools art departments, scholarship funds to students of the Art Institutes and CCAD; the cities of Lancaster, Akron, and Hilliard, and various mental health facilities, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens including Community Support and Haven of Rest Ministries in Akron, Ohio, and SouthEast and Fresh A.I.R Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, and funds for the research to cure Cerebral Palsy and those who have it.

Thank you, and have a happy day! If you do one of those a day for a lifetime, you can have a happy life!
