I'm a wood block printmaker, art educator, and sole proprietor of Words On Woodcuts Press. The Press lauched in 2015 with the publication of two books:"Cats A-Z", a cat-themed alphabet book for readers of all ages, and "Owl and Cat In Love", a re-imagining of Edward Lear's "The Owl and the Pussycat" in color woodcuts. In September 2015 I completed a ten-day artist residency through the Arts Center of Yates County in Penn Yan, NY beginning work on a new picturebook: "The Nautilus and the Ammonite." A native of Ohio, I moved to Philly to earn my MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2006. I've regularly exhibited my work for over ten years, including in Philadelphia's City Hall and at the Delaware Museum of Art. I maintain a studio in Philadelphia where I live with my husband and two young daughters.
