www.ArtPal.com/marliesbugmannAbout Artist and Author, Marlies Bugmann
Since June 2000, my artist name, which at the same time is also the name of my dot com domain (my website), is 'tasmanianartist'. My work, spaced over 6 decades, includes:
Traditional and digital painting, pencil draings, photography, fractal and kaleidoscope creations, or a combination thereof.
Tasmanian children's adventure novels; English translations of the Western-genre fiction novels of German writer Karl Friedrich May (1842-1912).
All works are POD only, I do not sell physical pieces, the files are uploaded to the POD guidelines as provided by ArtPal. Where pixels are showing, they are an integral part of the image and intended for effect (technique rarely used, and mostly for fractal work); all images are copyright tasmanianartist. The majority of photographs are digitally textured for effect; not many are 'as taken'.
Photographs – my husband and I are co-copyright holders of our photographs taken over the years, and parked here (our last will and testaments say so – we’re babyboomers, deal with it). Regardless of the name that is signed on the photographs (they may be snapped by Irwin, or snapped by Bugmann), the copyright is with ‘tasmanianartist’, being the two persons just mentioned combined. This is just to prevent any possible knickers of copyright-policing-algorythmns from getting twisted in a knot while botting – one never knows; cyberspace is a rabbitwarren. In almost all cases (to do with photographs), I cut, paste, layer, texture, or otherwise modify said photographs to push and shove them into a shape that appeals to my arty-farty sense of things.
On POD: My literary creations, and my art albums: mybestseller.co.uk/marliesbugmann - no ISBN; a number of my ArtPal collections tie in with my art albums, while others do so with my literary creations such as the fairytale and the Tasmanian children's adventure novels. All books are entirely my own, from inception to design, writing, illustrating, painting cover art, editing, formatting, and uploading to mybestseller in the UK - no ISBN also means that no controlling agency or middlemen have any say on where and how I display my books. The Karl May Riders in the Sky collection here on ArtPal also has its book partner on mybestseller.

Album ‘My UFOs’ read: My Unidentified Flowering Objects.
Album 'My Brushstrokes' contains low res digitized old photographs, being the only records of very old work; to rescue them I have enhanced them and applied several filters; some are of 72dpi. You may wish to reconsider using them for large prints.
Many large-size square works are available as large 1.4x1.4m scarves: https://www.redbubble.com/people/tasmanianartist/shop?artistUserName=tasmanianartist&iaCode=w-scarf&sortOrder=recent (old-fashioned copy and paste of link.)
