Magic Miss Bri Arts

Magic Miss Bri is a Native, mixed media artist creating in Indiana, USA. Her works are often described as “Totemic,” “spiritual,” “mandala,” “yantra,” “zen,” “tantric,” “shamanic,” “wabi-sabi,” and “divine.” Calling her work, perfectly imperfect art as a catalyst for self healing," Miss Bri holds a Doctorate of Divinity Studies and donates a portion of all proceeds to Lupus research which is a condition she suffers from.

But, at its’ core, Miss Bri yearns only to express one idea with each piece she creates – the same sentiment as this Alan Watts quote –

"What I am really saying is that you don't need to do anything, because if you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomenon of nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that, and there is nothing wrong with you at all."

If the viewer can find beauty expressed in another creature, being or natural wonder, maybe then they can then turn that awe inward and begin to see themselves as having that same intricate beauty. Not perfection, as we are all flawed, but utterly glorious and radiant, even while containing imperfections. Thus, her highly detailed art becomes a meditation and catalyst for self-healing.
