The painter Lukáš Havrda (* 1987) graduated from the Secondary School in Prague at Žižkov. Although he lives and works in Prague at the time, it is worth mentioning that he comes from the town of Semily in Podkrkonos. This fact can help the audience to explain some inspirational sources and moments in Lukáš's work. It is worth mentioning the concrete aesthetics of a nearby border fortification, or the construction of architectural brutalism, which in the 70s and 80s of the last century was projected by the architects of the Liberec studio SIAL. From the influences listed, the author's interest in the monumental forms of images and the certain roughness or roughness of the surface, which the author achieves in his paintings by the use of asphalt painting technology, is obvious. The assurance with which he manages the generous forms of his paintings can be attributed to his profession as a stage designer on Czech Television. Architecture, however, is by no means an exclusive subject; Lukáš is a painter drawing mainly from his own experiences, impressions, memories and ideas.
