Lorraine Fenlon

Lorraine Fenlon

I was born in Dublin, Ireland, into a family of artists, musicians & bookworms and have been painting from a young age.
I lived in the Isle of Man for 14 years but returned home to settle in Carlow which has a beautiful inspiring landscape. I run my own painting school called ‘Red Apple Arts’ and am a registered Tutor with Carlow/Kilkenny E.T.B.
I paint a diverse range of subjects, working from still life to portraits but I’m known for my luscious studies of fruit and my cheeky fish paintings! Painting has to make you happy!
I’m inspired by light, shadow & form in nature and reflections on water and use my artists’ licence to push the boundaries with a vibrant colour palette!
I am represented by The Denis Collins Gallery and The Rosslare Gallery in Wexford.
My paintings have found their way throughout Ireland, the UK and Italy.
