I have been creating art since I was a very young child. It was in the last few years that I begin to paint. I was shocked when my first painting won 2nd place at a local art show and even more shocked when it sold at a charity auction a few months later. I grew up in the mountains of Idaho where the wild animals, trees and rocks were my friends. In my paintings I try to capture a love and reverence for the Earth and nature. Now that I am retired I spend my time gardening, painting, rockhounding and creating wire wrapped jewelry. Hopefully you are inspired by my work to love the earth as much as I do.
