Liz McQueen's Artwww.ArtPal.com/lizmcqueen
Started painting in 2000 at the age of 60, having never had any painting experience. Found a teacher who opened up a new world for me.
I love colour and use all the colours in my paint box.
I enjoy being a little bit wierd and throwing paint around. Hence the rather impressionistic approach. We live in a beautiful part of the Lowveld of South Africa, near the Kruger park, so landscapes are my honest to goodness favourites, but don't sell well because we have beauty all around us. So I do them for the love of the land and paint other things which people like.
My husband is so supportive and without him I could not manage. He makes a lot of my equipment which saves a great deal. I am so very blessed to have found this outlet for my creativity at this late age. Thank you for reading all about it.
