ARTISTIC PROCESS
Painting for me is a form of personal handwriting witch develops by conveying the movement of the hand to the matter. My paintings are imaginary works made exclusively in workshop. The instinctive work is done by painting in random on the canvas a network of colors, but keeping in mind the importance of space, light, texture and atmosphere. The contrast of colors create the painting. Sometimes I put a collage in my painting in order to enrich my point in my work.
The unconscious must always prevail on the conscious. There are elements that seem abstract but my instincts tell me to keep them for the mystery and to raise questions.
Recent years I paint forests where one can discern the cycle of life, birth, death, fire and water ; what I express is not a certainty but only personal feelings.
The fascination I feel in front of a landscape marvel myself and stimulate my solitary nature. What matters is to arouse the viewer's imagination.
In my view the painting is complete if I feel a calm wash over me.
