My Prints here are NOT fine art prints, but they are exceptional color copies that I made myself of my original paintings on a thicker matte paper. I am offering them at a lower price for those buyers who cannot afford my original paintings. They could still have something lovely to frame for their home. The signature on the print is the one I signed on my original watercolor painting.
I have been teaching watercolor for over 31 consecutive years and absolutely love it! I am so passionate about watercolor!
Click "Lessons" at the top of my CharlotteLeddy.com website for all the information you need about my classes. I teach watercolor in Fort Worth, TX, at the Hobby Lobby on S. Hulen St. You can contact me about taking my classes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I will have Cards with envelopes for sale soon on this site, as well. Plus, in this year of 2019, I plan to start a YouTube channel to teach watercolor. You can sign up for notification for it at this email: email@example.com.
Here is my story of how I got started in watercolor. I was originally an oil artist while I was teaching our 3 sons at home. We needed more income, so I started teaching drawing to home school students. Then their mothers asked me to teach them to paint. I could not see having turpentine and staining oil paints around 10 wiggly kids at a time. My solution was to learn watercolor, so the Lord and I went to the store and got a book and paints. I began teaching watercolor to my students the next week, staying one painting ahead of them. That was possibly the biggest undertaking I ever did along with home schooling our boys at the same time. I let my oil paints dry up, never opening them ever again. Looking back I am so thankful I learned to paint and teach watercolor. I am still teaching it after 31 consecutive years! Amazing! That was not my original plan, but I just could never seem to stop. I love it!
Thank you for visiting!
