Linda D. Shelton's Paint Boxwww.ArtPal.com/lds_paintjewelry
The artist, Linda D. Shelton, a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Bauder Fashion College of Miami, FL. brings her experience in carpet design, wallpaper design, interior design, and textile design to the canvas through her art work. With a flair for detail, design and vividness of color I render ordinary subjects into colorful "light" using both acrylic and watercolor paints. And now, with my new walk with Christ, I bring it to you with more "bliss". I like to "illuminate" with metallic and often glittery paints.
My experience in textile design included jacquard damask production of mattress ticking (covers) and production of print lines for the bedding industry. After working in a large art department painting and designing the flowers you never see, but sleep on every night, I changed course "just to paint" and branched out from there.
The joy I find in painting comes from within. The pleasure and satisfaction of painting began at a very early age for me, a Mandeville native. As both a self trained artist and one schooled in art and design, I have found a somewhat realistic approach to my subjects.
Thank you for viewing my art works. Enjoy . . .
