Born in the County of Middlesex , My Artist Name is Lillybumbo this came about due to my schoolboy nickname, somehow Les became LiI, Brum became bumbo... you can guess the rest.I come from a working class background and was bought up in council home with seven siblings, a realy hard time for all, Over the years I have had several jobs but never found any satisfaction.
I eventually started working in the building industry and felt that was for me.
As a young man I went down the wrong road for a while and eventually ended up in prison, nothing realy bad , broke into some warehouses ....bad mistake.
I soon realised I wanted more from life and became a self employed builder and developer . The Boy Done Good.
As an older retired man now, my Artistic side has emerged I absolutely love it and can't seem to stop. My Art needs to be looked at seriously close as my art is Art within Art....Look Close.
I have several other paintings which I will put on for your perusal and I am currently talking to a couple of galleries in London for an Exhibition..Watch this space.
